Your Role:
Contribute to the smooth running of the finance team on a day-to-day basis. Supporting the Director of Finance and Assistant Financial Controller with banking and accounts receivable aspects of the finance department.
- To log, enter, process and monitor all invoices to ensure correct payments to suppliers of the hotel and maintain good relationships with them.
- To prepare and accurately process the hotel’s payment runs
- To ensure the timely and accurate production of all financial information to the company standard.
- Use the company purchasing system, Birch street to match all invoices and purchases orders
- Process all invoices in Oracle
- To resolve sales and purchase ledger queries promptly.
- Maintain Purchase Order Log and Expense Tracker
- Meet all payment deadline
- Manage the cheque processing system
- Monitor and control the accounts payable process
- Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel areas
- Provide month end account payable related accruals
- Reconcile supplier statement on monthly basis
- Maintain and update Purchase order log and Expense Tracker accurately
- Finalise banking and deal with change orders and petty cash
- Deal with ad/hoc customer inquiry
- Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required
- Support the income audit process with any ad hoc tasks

- Execute all tasks/requests as instructed by the Director of Finance, assistant financial controller and/or General Manager
- To ensure the timely and accurate production of all financial information to company standard
- Experience using, Onq and Oracle (desirable)
