We are looking for a Customer focussed individual who enjoys striving towards resolving our customers concerns. The role offers an opportunity to learn about a vast majority of the council’s services and impact the way in which these are delivered through appropriate resolution. If you are detail orientated, pride yourself on your written and verbal communication and are looking for a role where no two days are the same then this could be the right opportunity for you.
The role
Our Teams are friendly, welcoming and will support you in training to undertake a wide range of duties for departments across LCC. Being fully integrated into every team, Business Support Assistants often become subject matter experts in the areas they support, developing and supporting best practice. You really can make a difference.
You must have a keen eye for detail and be willing to learn about several services offered by Lincolnshire County Council, to a basic level. You will also be required to maintain professional relationships across the authority; using these to ensure that we do the best for our community.
We aim to look at all cases with an impartial view, which ultimately results in identifying areas of improvement for the Local Authority.
What we're looking for
We need team players, with drive and determination. You'll also have a flexible, can-do positive attitude and a real desire to provide exceptional service. What's in it for you?
We are supportive of our employees and we genuinely care for and treat people as individuals. We aim to create a happy working environment in which you can flourish, reach your potential and provide the very best in customer service.
Along with a competitive salary we are offering;
- A Contributory pension
- Comprehensive benefits package including excellent discount schemes and cycle to work
- Sodexo Discounts and Benefits Scheme
- Flexible working policies
- Career progression opportunities
- A generous leave entitlement with the option to buy more
