We are part of the global MMR Group which gives fantastic access to an enviable portfolio of B2C clients including Muller, National Trust, Fox’s Biscuits, Coca Cola and Mondelez to name a few.
In this role you will be responsible for developing innovative and engaging brand and campaign concepts across a range of media channels. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of copywriters to ensure the highest standards of copywriting are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and write creative concepts and copy for brand campaigns, product launches, and other marketing initiatives across multiple media channels
- Lead brainstorming and ideation sessions to generate fresh and unique ideas
- Conduct research to gain a deep understanding of the client's industry, target audience, and competitors
- Collaborate with designers, art directors, and other team members to bring concepts to life visually
- Ensure all copy is consistent with the brand's voice and tone
- Mentor and lead a team of copywriters, providing guidance and feedback to maintain the highest standards of copywriting
- Work closely with account teams to ensure all work is delivered on time and within budget
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and share your knowledge with the team
- Present and pitch concepts to clients, articulating the creative vision behind each idea
Requirements
- 7+ years of agency experience as a copywriter, with a proven track record of developing successful brand and campaign concepts
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of creative work across multiple media channels
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively and develop original ideas
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of copywriters, providing guidance and feedback to maintain high standards of copywriting
- Understanding of SEO best practices and how they apply to copywriting
- Knowledge of social media and how to write for different platforms
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workloads
