Accept Group have once again teamed up with a market leading Manufacturer and have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced H&S manager to be given the scope to implement new compliance, legislation and continue the work already in place.
The role will initially concentrate on 2 manufacturing facilities in Leeds. (Both sites only 100 yards apart)
As a Health & Safety Manager, you will be working closely with the HR team, to develop and implement effective policies and procedures in order to maintain health and safety management across the premises. You will conduct risk assessments, site inspections, audits, deliver training on best practise, lead incident/accident investigations and implement control measures to prevent near misses and occurrences.
**Having previous experience/knowledge within the Environmental aspects of H&S would be hugely beneficial.
The successful Health & Safety Manager will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a health and safety role
- NEBOSH General/ Member of IOSH - Associate/Tech/Grad/Chartered
- ISO Internal Auditor qualification- advantageous
- Proven experience in managing health and safety across large manufacturing premises
- Experience in delivering health and safety training
- Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 management systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
